Ongoing Recovery

A black and white photo of an elderly woman standing at a doorway and a man gently holding her hand outside the house.

Journaling offers space for self-reflection and growth. Asking yourself thoughtful, intentional questions is at the heart of all growth. The act of writing itself allows you to slow down and engage with your true self, exploring what is happening in your own heart.

Good questions serve as gentle prompts, inviting you to “turn aside” and look. They help uncover emotions, or challenge old beliefs. As you write, give yourself permission to process your feelings in a safe way. Allow the presence of Jesus to meet you on the page.
