It’s that lake in Karns, again. I can’t quit that lake. I go there when I need to breathe and sit quietly with my thoughts. There’s rarely anyone there. If the weather is nice, as it was on this day, I will drop the top on my blue Mustang and take in the view - snapping an iPhone picture for later studio work.

Sometimes I bring my portable studio art bag and sit at the stone picnic table and sketch. A mere 10 minutes from my house, and it feels like a faraway place, and a vacation.
